Eleonora Francesca Cordovani
(Acting teacher and director)
I am a theater educator, actress, and director with an interdisciplinary background that bridges performing arts, pedagogy, and embodied practices. I was born and trained in Italy, where I graduated from the University of Pisa with a degree in Cinema, Music, and Theatre, presenting a dissertation focused on Theatre Therapy.
My professional training includes work with the Isole Comprese Teatro Company in Florence, Mamadou Dioume (Peter Brook Theatre Company) in Trieste, and Bethany Caputo of the Michael Chekhov Acting Studio in New York.
I have worked extensively in Trieste as an acting teacher and director, teaching children, teenagers, and adults. I have directed both original productions and adaptations of literary works, including Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, and texts by Federico García Lorca.
I am currently the Co-Artistic Director of All’Italiana – Boston Italian Theatre Company, where I also work as an actress, director, and acting teacher. My artistic practice integrates theater with complementary disciplines such as yoga and movement, creating holistic and inclusive learning environments.
